Design is what we see but it is just the tip of the iceberg.
So let’s go behind the scenes to see how I lay the foundation of my projects.

Product definition 🤓

This first phase is pivotal to grasping the initial details and information of the project. 🤓 It involves stakeholder interviews to gather insights about business goals and outline the key aspects of the product: what is it, who will use it and why they will use it.

Research 🧐

Before jumping into designing I always make sure that we’re asking the right questions and trying to accomplish the right challenges. 🧐 This stage includes both user and market research, consulting and exploring possible solutions.

Analysis 🤯

The goal is moving from “what” users want/think/need to “why” they want/think/need it! (I know… mindblowing) 🤯 This phase usually includes: user personas, empathy maps, benchmarking, competitive analysis, SWOT analysis etc.

Design 🎨

When users’ wants, needs, and expectations are clear, we are now ready to move to the design phase!🥳 It all starts with some sketches, transformed into wireframes that slowly evolve into the final design. “Psst! This stage goes hand-in-hand with the testing phase.” 👨‍💻

Testing 👨‍💻

During a series of user testing sessions, the product will be tested by both stakeholders and end-users. There are many different ways to try, including moderated/unmoderated usability testing, focus groups, A/B testing and more! 🥸

Showcase! 🥳

Yaayy! The project is now live and ready to be shared with friends, family, coworkers and the worldwide public! This is probably one of the most exciting phases for both the stakeholders and me. The feeling is always so rewarding. Time to enjoy your new website🤩

A*STAR | Singapore

is a statutory board under the Ministry of Trade and Industry of
Singapore, an acronym that stands for Science, Technology and Research.

A*STAR offers a package that includes a “business roadmap” to help companies grow. My task was to design a landing page that would showcase and funnel people to acquire their “Operation and Technology Roadmap” package.
This project was part of my internship at Voilaah, a digital agency based in Singapore.

Tablr | design system

Tabler is “a premium and open source dashboard template with a
responsive and high-quality UI”.
Since it’s been developed to be used with HTML, CSS and React, it does not offer a “design” version.
This means that it does not include downloadable components, a comprehensive library of reusable symbols for prototyping software.

My task was to convert the whole coded version into design components.

Boldr Supply Co | Webshop

Boldr is a brand of watches based in Singapore. Their sales are mostly based online which means that their webshop is pivotal to the growth of the company. Despite the solidity of the current one, it presents User Interface and User Experience (UI/UX) problems.
The goal is to improve the UX/UI of the webshop by achieving consistency throughout the website, enhancing its architecture, and conducting research that can be converted into results.

Outline | Window configurator

This is an omnichannel concept conceived for “Outline Vinduer”, part of the Inwido Group, one of the largest window vendors across Europe.
This is an online configurator that automatically creates the perfect windows for your needs based on the information provided: location, style, noise reduction, etc.
This makes the User Experience easier while gathering data for the retailers.
